Clinical Pharmacists are highly qualified health professionals who train for many years to become specialists in medicines. They can work directly with patients as part of the GP team, which includes carrying out structured medication reviews for patients with ongoing health problems and improving patient safety, outcomes and value through a person-centred approach.
Having a clinical pharmacist in the GP team means patients can be treated by the best person to meet their needs. All pharmacists are registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
